How We Handle Your Data

GATE86 Advisory (“we”, “us”) operates the editorial platform at gate86.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
When you subscribe, we collect: your name, email address, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details). Optionally, you may provide: industry, country, topics of interest, WhatsApp number, and language preference.
Your data serves one purpose: delivering and personalising your intelligence subscription. We use your industry and topic preferences to tailor newsletter content. We use your email and WhatsApp number (if provided) to deliver the 86 Brief.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not run targeted advertising. We do not use cookies for tracking (our analytics platform, Plausible, is privacy-first and cookie-free).
Your data is processed by: Supabase (database hosting, EU-available regions), Stripe (payment processing, PCI-compliant), and Vercel (website hosting). These processors handle data under their own privacy policies and in compliance with applicable regulations.
You can update or delete your data at any time from your account page. You can request a full export of your data by contacting us. You can delete your account permanently, which removes all your personal data from our systems. EU residents have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, and erase personal data.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymised usage statistics (article view counts, no personal identifiers) may be retained.
