Lingsheng supercomputer tops global TOP500 list for first time in nine years

China's National Supercomputing Center in Shenzhen announced on June 23, 2026 that its 'Lingsheng' system has topped the global TOP500 supercomputer rankings with 2.19 EFlops of sustained double-precision performance — the first system anywhere in the world to exceed 2 EFlops.
