China releases 15th five-year plan targeting 3.5 trillion RMB pharmaceutical revenue by 2030

Ten government agencies jointly published China's pharmaceutical industry roadmap on September 21, 2026, setting a 20%+ annual growth target for innovative drugs and aiming for Chinese-developed first-in-class drugs to represent more than 25% of global new drug approvals by 2030.
